Firstly to our four volunteers, Hajira, Heena, Maryam and Aisha who undertook the 20 mile sponsored walk on 23 June in aid of the charity.
The walk took them across some beautiful and historic landscapes in Berkshire – from Slough to Moulsham Green along the Three Castles Path, through Windsor Great Park, Swinley Park, Windsor Forest and the Blackwater Valley.
Their aim was to raise £ 1000. In fact Hajira, Heena, Maryam and Aisha raised more than DOUBLE this amount, namely £2062.
Thanks are also due to all those who participated in their endeavour by donating to MARCCH.
All the money raised will provide medical assistance to Chechen children who need our support so on behalf of the children we help, thank you all.
