Purpose

When MARCCH visited the Main Children’s hospital in Grozny in 2006 it was obvious that acute shortages in funding meant that the hospital suffered from a severe lack of both drugs and equipment for essential medical care. The Hospital is still badly in need of additional resources.

Actions taken

In 2006 we made a small grant to help with some immediate problems and undertook to supply some basic equipment that was urgently needed.

In 2007 we delivered ATMOS C401 surgical suction machines and accessories to the acute care ward at the Hospital.
